Author Guidelines

About Submission

Radiology Essence Journal welcomes original scholarly contributions in medical sciences, allied health sciences and life sciences. The journal accepts manuscripts that contribute meaningful scientific, clinical, technical, educational or interdisciplinary knowledge.

All manuscripts must be original and must not have been published previously or be under consideration by another journal.

Types of Manuscripts

The journal may consider:

Original Research Articles

Reports of original research with clearly described methodology, results and conclusions.

Review Articles

Comprehensive reviews of established or emerging topics.

Systematic Reviews

Structured reviews conducted using an appropriate systematic methodology.

Case Reports

Reports describing interesting, unusual or educational clinical cases.

Technical Articles

Articles describing imaging techniques, laboratory techniques, healthcare technology, instrumentation or methodological developments.

Short Communications

Brief reports of important findings or preliminary research.

Educational Articles

Scholarly articles addressing teaching, training, education and professional development in healthcare and life sciences.

Letters to the Editor

Brief scholarly comments, observations or responses relating to previously published work or topics of scientific interest.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared in clear English and submitted as a Microsoft Word document or PDF.

The manuscript should generally contain:

Title

Concise and informative title.

Authors

Full name of each author, institutional affiliation and corresponding author information.

Abstract

A concise summary of the study, normally including the purpose, methods, results and conclusion where applicable.

Keywords

Three to six relevant keywords.

Main Text

The structure may vary according to the type of manuscript. Research articles should generally include:

Materials and Methods

Results

Discussion

Conclusion

References

References should be accurate, complete and consistently formatted.

Tables and Figures

Tables and figures should be clearly numbered and referred to in the manuscript.

Figures must be of sufficient quality for publication.

Authors must have permission to reproduce material that is not their own.

Patient identifying information must not be included unless appropriate consent has been obtained.

Ethical Requirements

Research involving human participants should comply with applicable ethical standards and should have appropriate ethical approval where required.

Authors should provide an ethical approval statement where applicable.

For case reports involving identifiable patient information, appropriate informed consent should be obtained.

Research involving animals should comply with applicable institutional and national ethical requirements.

Originality and Duplicate Submission

Authors must confirm that:

The manuscript is original.

The manuscript has not been published elsewhere.

The manuscript is not simultaneously submitted to another journal.

All authors have approved the submitted manuscript.

Authorship

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the work.

All listed authors should approve the final manuscript.

Any changes to authorship after submission should be communicated to the Editorial Office and agreed upon by all affected authors.

Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, professional or personal relationships that could influence the work.

If there is no conflict, authors may state:

Funding

Authors should disclose the source of financial support for the research.

If no specific funding was received, this should be stated.

Peer Review

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial editorial assessment.

Manuscripts considered suitable may be sent for peer review by appropriate independent reviewers.

The final publication decision rests with the Editorial Office.

Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

Corrections and Retractions

The journal may publish corrections, retractions or other editorial notices when necessary to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal's online submission system:

After submission, the corresponding author will receive an acknowledgement containing the manuscript's Submission ID.

Authors should use this Submission ID in future correspondence with the Editorial Office.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based on the scientific and scholarly merits of the manuscript.

Editorial team members may submit manuscripts to the journal. However, they will not participate in the editorial decision or peer review of their own manuscripts.

Radiology Essence Journal does not guarantee acceptance, indexing, DOI assignment or publication merely because a manuscript has been submitted.

The journal reserves the right to modify these guidelines as its publication policies develop.

This version is suitable for your first Author Guidelines page. I would keep it like this initially, rather than making it 5 or 6 pages long. Later, when you have actual submissions, we can add manuscript formatting specifications, reference style, article templates and detailed peer review instructions.
